Continuing Our White Entertainment Interview Series with Talented K-Pop Group Blitzers!
In our interview series, where we bring together various names from the K-pop world full of different musical styles and talents, this time we will get to know the group: Blitzers!

1. Can you introduce yourselves?
Jinhwa- Hi, I’m Jinhwa, the leader of the group
Go_U- Hi, I’m Blitzers Go_U.
Juhan- Hi, I’m Juhan.
Sya- Hi, I’m Sya in charge of rap in the group.
Chris- Hi, I’m Blitzers Chris
Lutan- Hi, I’m Lutan
Wooju- Hi, I’m Blitzers’ maknae Wooju.
2. How did you decide to become an idol?
Jinhwa- When I was in high school, I was preparing to enter the Faculty of Sport Sciences. Thanks to a friend of mine who was a trainee at the time, I became interested. This is how my interest in stage and dance started and then I dreamed of becoming an idol.
Go_U – When I was a student, I was randomly offered casting on the street and after that I became interested in being an idol.
Juhan- I dreamed of becoming a singer while watching BEAST, and it was my dream to become an idol while watching BTS.
Sya- I went to iKON’s concert and I started dreaming of becoming an idol after falling in love with how they were on stage.
Chris- After watching a survival program on YouTube, I liked being an idol and naturally I decided to become an idol.
Lutan- I saw the upper classes performing on stage at the middle school festival and I thought I would like to take part in that stage and naturally I decided to become an idol.
Wooju- One day while watching theater, I thought how cool it would be to dance and sing on stage and decided to become an idol.
3. How did Blitzers come together
Sya- Even though everyone entered the company in different ways, we came together with the same dream and became Blitzers.
4. What has changed the most for you in the past 1.5 years since you debuted?
Jinhwa- I think attitudes and thoughts towards work have changed the most.
Chris- Our teamwork has become stronger and Blitzers is getting more and more recognizable.
Lutan- Each member has grown and evolved in terms of skill, but I think the biggest change has been the increase in BLEEs, our fans who love and support us.
5. We know that idols work hard. So what is your daily routine?
Juhan- As soon as I wake up, I drink water for throat care, wash, eat and go to work and do basic exercises and stretching! Then, after taking dance and singing lessons, I have dinner, make up for my shortcomings with private practice and leave my job.
Wooju- After school I go to work and practice! Sometimes on the weekends, I live too hard doing what I want to do.
6. We are quickly entering the winter season. A new year is approaching. Some people say they are more creative this time of year. Is there a time when you feel more creative and love more?
Go-U- I think spring or summer.
Juhan- They usually say that the night has its own vibe haha, that’s why I feel the most creative during night.
Sya- When I write and think about rap lyrics, I feel very creative.
Lutan- I think I am the most creative when preparing and active for promotions! In preparation for promotions, I asked, ‘Will the fans like it if I do this? I think a lot when we have to show ourselves like, “Is this the reaction we will get if we do it like this?” and I feel creative at that moment.
7. What do you like to do the most in winter?
Jinhwa- Getting into the duvet and going to bed late
Go-U- Skiing
Juhan- I like to ski in winter.
Sya- I like to lie down and rest on the electric mat
Chris- I go to the ice rink or ski! I want to go with the members haha
Lutan- I like to eat fish cake (붕어빵), which can only be eaten in winter. I also love the feeling when you step on snow that piled up.
Wooju- I like to go for a walk.
8. What is the word or thing that motivates you the most when you are struggling?
Jinhwa- Eating together
Go-U- Playing games
Juhan- Just to be by your side (meaning support)
Sya- Watching the life stories of the athletes gives me strength.
Chris- I get stronger when I get compliments like you improved haha
Lutan- Praise or consolation seems to help. Among them, I think that the word ‘you are doing well’ gives me strength.
Wooju- It’s enough for someone to just hug me without saying anything.
9. We see the members go to different countries for the ‘Looking for BLEE’ project and Wooju visited Cappadocia in Turkey. How was your experience in Turkey? Did you learn any Turkish words during your visit?
Wooju- I went to Turkey for the first time to shoot for BLEE! The scenery is beautiful and it was so nice to see the cats which I loved! The Turkish equivalent of greeting is “Merhaba”! and “Kahve”! I remember these words.
10. What 3 things come to your mind when you think of Turkey?
Jinhwa- Ice cream, kebab, Istanbul
Go-U- Cream (kaymak), Ankara, kebab
Juhan- Ice Cream, Kebab and Korea’s variety show Turkids on the Block (튀르키예즈 온 더 블록)
Sya- Ice cream, Brother country, Hot air balloon
Chris- Ice cream, scenery, beauty
Lutan- Hot Air Balloon, Ice Cream, Wooju
Wooju- Ice cream, Turkish delight, looking for BLEE
11. Is there a style/theme you would like to try in your songs or clips in the future?
Jinhwa- I want to shoot a music video with the concept of traveling together.
Go-U- Dark and still song
Juhan- I want to try a genre and song like Shall We Dance by Block B.
Sya- hip-hop because I love hip-hop!
Chris- I want to try a music video in a fun atmosphere.
Lutan- Dark, dreamy, sexy concept
Wooju- I want to try an emotionally dark theme!
12. What kind of songs do you listen to the most? What kind of songs do you want to come to mind when you think of Blitzers?
Go_U- I usually listen to very quiet songs and I hope our songs remind you of strange feelings.
Sya- I listen to B.I sunbaenim’s songs a lot these days and when you think of Blitzers, I hope you think of songs with messages!
Chris- I usually listen to a lot of hip hop and when you hear Blitzers, I’ll be glad if BOBBIN comes to mind.
13. Congratulations on successfully completing your first European tour last month! During this tour, did you have a fun memory that you did not forget? Can you explain if there is?
Jinhwa- Every moment with BLEE
Go_U- Everything I’ve seen about European BLEEs is unforgettable.
Lutan- Since we debuted and promoted during the COVID-19 era, we didn’t have many opportunities to meet the fans, but I think it was the most memorable moment to be able to meet many BLEEs in Europe through this tour.
Wooju – All concerts with BLEE and their warmth! And I don’t think I’ll ever forget the time I hung out with the members at the hotel.
14. Can you share your favorite songs from your albums with us?
Jinhwa – Simon Says

15. What are your biggest dreams and projects that you want to realize?
Jinhwa- go wherever BLEE is
Juhan- My biggest dream is to sing as well as my seniors whom I see as my role models! My aim is to announce and show my music to the public.
Chris- It’s our dream to show our music on stage.
16. Do you have role models? If so, who?
Jinhwa- SHINee’s Taemin
Go-U- My dad
Juhan- My role models are BTS V and MONSTA X Kihyun
Sya- Ever since I was young, I have been heavily influenced by G-Dragon and B.I.
Chris- I became an idol after watching BTS, so BTS is my role model.
Lutan- My role model is Seventeen’s Hoshi. I want to be like the person who draws the most attention on the stage as both his dance and vocal skills are excellent, but I think what I want to resemble the most is Hoshi’s passion and unending effort.
Wooju – Baek Yerin
17. Is there a singer or group you would like to work with in the future?
Jinhwa – Taemin. He is a role model so I want to work with him and learn a lot from him.
Chris- I would love to work with Post Malone!
Lutan- I want to grow more so that I can get along with every artist I work with.
18. Which Korean food/drink would you recommend to Turkish BLEEs?
Jinhwa- Kimchijeon! The food I always wanted to eat these days.
Go-U- Dakgalbi
Juhan- Beef radish soup and seaweed soup! tasty.
Sya- Samgyeopsal.
Chris- Bossam, Jokbal.
Lutan- Samgyeopsal! It’s my favorite dish and I think everyone will like it.
Wooju- Fish shaped cake
19. What do you wonder most about Turkey? Which city would you like to visit?
Jinhwa- I’ve never had the original kebab before, so I want to try the best kebab restaurant!
Go-U- I want to visit the capital Ankara.
Juhan- I want to go where Wooju went! It was beautiful when I saw it in the video.
Sya- I want to go to where there are many hot air balloons that Wooju went to.
Chris – Istanbul! It was so beautiful when I researched it that I want to visit it once.
Lutan- First of all, I am wondering what kind of place Ankara is, the capital of Turkey, and I really want to get on the balloon. I’ve only seen it in photos and videos, but it was beautiful and I’ve heard that many people want to visit Turkey again.
Wooju- I want to travel to the place where I shot the concept film once again!
20. What would you like to say to Turkish BLEEs?
Jinhwa- I hope we can visit Turkey one day and have fun together! Let’s wait for that time together!
Go-U- Thanks for your interest in Blitzers! Let’s be together in the future!
Juhan- Turkish BLEE we haven’t met in person yet, but let’s meet! Promise that day and fighting!!
Sya- I can’t wait to see you in Turkey! If the opportunity arises, I would like to go back with a format like Looking for BLEE.
Chris- If we get a chance later, I really want to go to Turkey and show our stage to Turkish BLEE.
Lutan- Turkish BLEE who always supports and loves us even from afar! I am truly grateful and will visit you with a cool image as your support, so please give us lots of attention and love in the future too! Thank you and I love you.
Wooju- I want to visit Turkey again, which is really beautiful! Please wait until that time!
