We had a very enjoyable interview with K-pop idol Han Jaeun, who was a vocalist and leading rapper in INX and ARGON Groups!

Born on 28 September 1999, Han Jaeun is now a solo artist.

We had a very enjoyable interview with the talented artist about his career, being an idol, Turkiye and Turkish fans.

We asked, Han Jaeun answered our questions sincerely for Turkish K-pop lovers.

Enjoy your reading!

1. First of all, could you briefly introduce yourself?

Hello, I’m Han Jaeun, who was in K-pop groups INX and ARGON. It’s nice to say hello after a long time.

2. How did you decide to become an idol?

My dream of becoming an idol started by watching TVXQ and Big Bang sunbaes since I was a kid.

3. What do you think about the difficulties of being an idol?

Being an idol is an adventure in itself. In this life, which is becoming more and more uncertain every day, there is a lot of competition, so I think it is necessary to live by working hard.

4. We have been following you since INX and you are really successful. How did it feel to debut?

Thank you very much. When I debuted, the fact that I debuted was unbelievable. It was very touching to know that there are people who support someone like me in this way and I still try to remember that. This is a driving force for me in my life.

5. What would you like to do if you weren’t an idol?

I have an interest in being a car racer. I have tried it before, but it is quite difficult and the financial burden is really big. I would like to do it as a hobby, if not as a job.

6. Have you been to Turkiye before? If not, what is the city you would like to visit the most?

Unfortunately, I haven’t been there yet, but I like to have a drink with delicious food on holiday, so if I go to Turkiye, I would like to drink öküzgözü in Ölüdeniz with a wonderful sea view.

7. What do you think about Turkish food? Which Turkish food would you like to eat?

Although I have tried Turkish kebab in Itaewon before, I would personally like to go to Turkiye and eat kebab rather than eating kebab in Korea.

8. How was a day like for you as an idol?

With a busy schedule day by day, I couldn’t get enough sleep and I was tired, but the time we spent with our fans was happier than any other time and made me feel that my life was worthwhile.

9. Do you still keep in touch with your friends from INX and ARGON?

We all keep in touch! Sometimes we meet, have dinner together and often chat. Now we see each other as close friends, not as partners in the same idol group.

10. Who do you see as your idol?

BTS. I learnt a lot from their music, especially Love Yourself.

11. What challenges have you faced along this journey?

I wasn’t always a confident person. I was always very anxious because of my personality. I couldn’t express it and had to pretend that I wasn’t. But every morning I promised myself that I would be honest with myself. Not being able to keep my promises to myself was very mentally exhausting.

12. Is there anything you would like to say to Turkish fans?

This interview was quite fun. I really enjoyed being able to do an honest interview on my own, instead of the answers I couldn’t say when I was an active idol and had to make up with lies. I hope you enjoy watching Han Jaeun’s honest interviews. I’m really sorry and apologise for not being able to meet with the people who have supported me even once until now. I was very grateful during this time. Just knowing that you have supported someone like me once in your life makes me a happy person. Even though I won’t be able to show the idol Han Jaeun in the future, I will show the young Han Jaeun living in Korea a lot through social media. You guys also show me what kind of life you lead through social media from time to time.

How did you find our interview with Han Jaeun? Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section. Stay tuned for our next interview.
