Our interview with RE:GUYS, who won hearts under their former name, Greatguys.
RE:GUYS, which debuted in 2017 and continues its career independently as of 2025, consists of seven talented members who have proven their success with “Rookie of the Year” and “Rising Star” awards. Our exclusive interview with the team, who has left a mark on global stages and is currently carving out their own artistic paths, is with you!!

1. Hello everyone! First, could you introduce yourself?
RE:GUYS is a name combining ’RE‘ and ’We‘. It contains the meaning of stopping once but not ending, but rather returning and starting anew. Neither denying the past nor staying solely within it. It also means that we have returned as if replying back to the music and stage we truly want to do.
2. What is the difference between the position you imagined when you first formed the group and your current position?
RE:GUYS: To be honest, it wasn‘t as easy as I thought, and there were many difficult moments. However, thanks to all of you who have always been by my side and supported me, I have been able to continue working without giving up until now. I believe that our current position was not created by us alone, but rather a place we have created together with our fans.
I think everyone started out with lofty goals and aspirations, but in reality, we didn’t reach the position we wanted. However, I believe I‘ve gained and learned a lot over the years. Experience and time are irreplaceable, so I think the difference between then and now is that we have a unique value.
3. Which comeback was the most difficult for you, and why?
RE:GUYS: I think the most difficult part was the process of deciding to meet again and preparing. It wasn‘t easy to spend different times and come together again as one, but…
Thanks to your support, we have been able to achieve this until now.
I think the pandemic was the most difficult time. It was a time when the group could have disbanded, but I remember the effort we put into releasing an album and reassuring our fans.
4. If you weren‘t an idol, what do you think you would be doing now?
I think they were probably living diligently in their respective positions as members of society.
Actually, I’ve thought about it a lot, but since I don‘t have many skills, I think I’ve been studying for certifications and building my resume.
5. Is there a song that has been released so far that has come out the best?
RE:GUYS:
Touch By Touch is the most memorable song for us. It feels even more special because it‘s a song that many people have loved.
6. What is the most important piece of advice you give to young people or those who want to become idols?
RE:GUYS: I hope you never give up on your dreams, no matter what moment comes.
7. What do you think has changed in your group‘s identity due to your new name?
RE:GUYS: I feel that we have become closer to each other and to our fans through the new name.

8. How did you decide to change the group name? Was the process difficult for you?
RE:GUYS: The fans had a lot of thoughts before deciding on the name RE:GUYS. So I was more cautious and I think it was a meaningful choice.
9. What is your favorite song?
RE:GUYS: These days, I often listen to Yang Da-il‘s song ”I’m Sorry.“
10. Do you remember the first group or idol you liked?
RE:GUYS: I really liked BIGBANG seniors, and they are artists I still respect.
11. If there is an opportunity to collaborate, which group or idol would you like to work with?
RE:GUYS: I always think positively and am open to any collaboration or proposal that comes my way.
12. Could you tell me a small secret about your group that fans don‘t know?
RE:GUYS: We believe that we are a group with infinite potential, both still and in the future.
13. Who is the most sensual member of your group, and who is the most entertaining member?
MİN-Kİ: The most sensual member of our group is D.I. When working on music, I tend to immerse myself in emotions, so I express the atmosphere and message contained in the song more deeply than anyone else. On the other hand, the most interesting member is Young-gi. I play a role in brightening the atmosphere, so I always keep laughing.
YOUNG-Kİ: I think Minki is the most sensible member in our group. Since we recently reunited, he’s been in charge of marketing and social media. He seems to have a clear sense of what he wants and pursues, so he‘s the most sensible member of the group. As for the funniest member, I’m actually the funniest, but if you take me out, Donghyun is the next funniest. It‘s probably because the members who talk the most often naturally create a fun atmosphere when they talk.
14. What is the most unforgettable message you received from a fan?
RE:GUYS: The message you shared that our music and activities have made your daily life happier and helped you endure difficult times is the most memorable. That one phrase was a great source of strength for us.
15. Has anyone in your group ever been to Turkey? Or do you want to go to Turkey?
RE:GUYS: Although no member has been to Turkey yet, Min-ki is reportedly planning a trip to Turkey around this summer.
16. When you come to Turkey, what kind of food would you like to try, and which city would you most like to visit?
RE:GUYS: If I were to go to Turkey, I would definitely like to try Kaymak, and especially Cappadocia is a city I definitely want to visit at least once.
17. Do you have anything you want to say to the Turkish fans through us?
We sincerely thank you for always supporting us from afar.
I hope to hold a performance in Turkey as soon as possible so that I can meet Turkish fans in person. I am really looking forward to that day.
If there are any fans in Turkey who support RE:GUYS, we’ll be there anytime. We‘ll definitely be there with good news, so please wait a little longer. Thank you, Seni seviyoruz
